The Art of Being Happy

People struggle daily to be happy. They just can't seem to get over unavoidable obstacles that are retention them back. Living a happy, resilient and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also good for your health. It certainly protects you from the stresses of life. Stress is connected to top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.

While there is no magic switch that can turn happiness on and off, there are unavoidable things you can do to help lighten your day. Here is a couple of things you should try that might help.

Exercise - This is one of the biggest things you could do to help heighten the ability of your life. Not only will you heighten your corporeal well being, you will also heighten your mentality as well. Tests have shown that 20 minutes worth of cardio action each day is more qualified than any anti depressant that habitancy take.

Pet A Dog - Now I know this might sound crazy, but next time you see a dog, go over and try to pet him. (if he is barking and growling I would advise staying away). You will be amazed at how well this can make you feel. Just finding that animal getting all excited and wagging his tail all the time puts me in a good mood. Best yet, try certainly getting a dog yourself. If you treat them right, you will have a friend for life no matter what happens.

Now this is just a couple of things you should do the next time you feel like your mood is taking a trip to negative town. Use these methods and build on them. You will be surprised with the outcome.
